1) PARTICIPATE in the Terry Fox Marathon run on Aug 22, Sunday in IIT Chennai (registration starts at 7 am )*. Terry Fox run, an annual charity event with the two fold purpose of spreading awareness and raising funds for cancer research, is held in 53 countries around the world. Akash Dube, an 18 year old Cancer survivor, introduced this run to Chennai in 2009 and intends to make this marathon bigger this year.
2) DONATE. Cheques can be made to Tata memorial hospitals, Mumbai (The only institution in India accredited by Terry Fox Foundation)**
3) SPREAD the message and bring your family, friends and colleagues.

10,000 participants is our target for the Chennai marathon - the highest in India.

* There is no registration fee for the marathon. The route will be a 6 Km circuit through the IIT M campus and can be covered fully or partially by running, walking, roller blading or cycling. All participants will get a certificate.
